Buckhurst Hill East District Councillor Simon Heap is standing for the Green Party for the County Division of Buckhurst Hill and Loughton South. The only parties standing who have Councillors in the Division are the Greens and the Conservatives.
Simon, 53, lives in the division and is a Project Manager who commutes into London each day. He is hardworking and is the best choice for people who do not want yet another Conservative County Councillor.
"A vote for me will be one for a dedicated local representative who will not toe a party line. It will be a vote against cuts to our council services. In the last few years our youth services have been destroyed, children's centres decimated, recycling centres have banned certain items, and social services have been cut. This is about priorities and at the moment the government is choosing ideology over good services."
Can you help us build support for Simon? Come along to one of our action days:

Epping Forest Greens are also standing a candidate in Waltham Abbey.
Local activist Dave Plummer, who has campaigned around public transport, housing, the green belt, small businesses and public services, said,
'I am honoured to have been selected as the Green Party candidate for Waltham Abbey in the forthcoming Essex County Council elections. The Green Team on Essex County Council have won important concessions over the last three years and will be able to do even more if Simon and I join them.'
Dave's hosting a Green Drinks social in The Crown, Romelands, Waltham Abbey on Thursday 27th, 7.00pm. Why not go along for a chat?
